You may recall the town Ojai from the hit television show, Brothers and Sisters, and the wonderful Walker family, but you probably haven’t thought about visiting the cozy town of Ojai.  That should change, Ojai is close enough for a day trip (only 90 minutes from your North Hollywood apartment), but a world away.

Go back in time, when life was simpler and a stroll down Ojai’s Main Street was a way of life.  Linger in antique shops, or stop in to the many cafes and restaurants that line downtown.  Stay the night at Ojai Rancho Inn and enjoy a good old fashioned swimming hole just north of town at Sespe Creek.

Enjoy fresh, locally sourced vegetables, grapes, citrus and olives and sip on wine at one of the area’s vineyards.  Take a short trip outside of town to Los Padres National Forest.

Whether it is a day trip or a weekend sneak away, Ojai, nicknamed, "Shangri-La" because of its natural beauty, is the perfect LA getaway spot.
