This year the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks is having a “4th of July Celebration” at the Hansen Dam Recreation Area! Bring the whole family and have a great day of fun in the sun beforehand! The 1.5-acre swim lake will be open all day, and the city is encouraging you to bring a picnic and enjoy the great weather. Then, as the evening goes on local food vendors will arrive, and the live music will begin. The finale of the night, of course, will be a spectacular fireworks show! The best part, however, is that entry to the event is completely free!
