Materials

• Ice cube
• Rock salt
• Vinegar
• Baking soda
• Dishwashing soap
• Scrubber

Instructions

Step 1: Drop ice cubes into your disposal along with half a cup of rock salt. Turn the disposal on and let it run for a minute or two.

Step 2: Pour a cup of vinegar and half a cup of baking soda into the disposal, while letting it fizz for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 3: Plug up the drain and fill your sink half way with hot water and dish washing soap. Unplug the drain and turn on the disposal. And there you have it, a clean and odorless garbage disposal.
