Pumpkin smoothies cups: if you have kids make them a cup out of a small pumpkin and serve a smoothie or hot chocolate. Let your kids decorate the cup with markers and use them for a few days. Young children will absolutely love this idea.
Scary movie night: if you have nothing to do the weekend before Halloween, set up a scary movie night with your family and friends. Have everyone come in costume, make a few treats, and throw something scary on. Watching a movie in a large group is always a good time.
Stay visible: once you actually go out trick-or-treating for Halloween, make sure your kids are wearing bright costumes. Staying visible to motorist is one of the biggest keys to being safe. You can even try reflective tape. And lastly, be sure to talk to your kids about traffic and watching for cars in alleyways.
Remember safety should be your biggest concern this Halloween. We hope you and your family have a wonderful and scary good time over the next few weeks.
