Given its name, it should come as no surprise to learn that North Hollywood is home to numerous sites of artistic and cultural interest, making it a prime location for people who share those interests.
With that said, even if you are not particularly interested in such things, you should have no problems finding something to do in one of LA’s hottest neighborhoods:
- North Hollywood is home to the NoHo Arts District, which features artistic performances in addition to a fine selection of cafes and boutiques. For example, the NoHo Arts Center Ensemble specializes in new plays and musicals as well as refreshing reinterpretation of old classics.
- The Federal Bar is an excellent example of the eateries that can be found in North Hollywood, serving up time-tested favorites along with a slew of regular events for the entertainment of its patrons. For example, it will be offering its patrons the chance to build their own poutines on Mondays and Tuesdays, which will be accompanied by live music karaoke on Mondays and jazz on Tuesdays.
- Unsurprisingly, North Hollywood boasts a thriving nightlife, as proven by the example ofTonga Hut. If you want Pacific-themed music, dance, and nightime fun in general, it is an experience not to be missed.
Even if none of the places listed here interest you, you should not give up hope because North Hollywood is home to many more sites for some weekend fun.
